今天七月四日是美國的獨立紀念日，也就是美國的國慶日，美國在 1776年的七月四日這一天宣布脫離英國統治，成為一個獨立的國家。

美國人通常都不說這個節日是獨立紀念日 Independence Day，而是說 4th of July (一般不說 July 4th 喔)，習慣了就好。

所以ㄋㄟ，在此祝美國生日快樂! 也祝大家長週末愉快!

前幾天 Sunny 看 San Diego Family Magazine 文章的時候，才知道聖地牙哥竟然已經有 240 年的悠久歷史了呢 (1776年七月 16日)! 比美國建國的歷史還長喔。

為什麼ㄋㄟ? 因為聖地牙哥早在成為美國屬地之前，就已經歷經西班牙和墨西哥的統治了，直到美墨戰爭之後才劃為美國的統治範圍。
